TexProtects is searching for a new CEO

In April, TexProtects Founding CEO Madeline McClure announced that she is stepping aside from her position and moving up to the Board of Directors. TexProtects is now engaged in a search for a new Chief Executive Officer.

In addition to providing leadership to the staff on the day-to-day operation of the organization, the new CEO will be charged with continuing to build the organization with respect to addressing the epidemic of child maltreatment on a systemic level through research, education and advocacy. Specifically, she/he will be charged with increasing TexProtects’ legislative impact by clarifying and measuring legislative outcomes, optimizing collaborations, mobilizing advocates, and developing and expanding legislative relationships; ensuring TexProtects' sustainability by strengthening and implementing a development strategy, transforming governance, refining and better communicating mission and brand, assessing needs and maximizing technology tools; and redefining advocacy scope and role through prioritizing prevention, research and advocacy, and clarifying the organization’s national role.
