Dallas H.O.P.E.S

Over the last decade, TexProtects has made it a top priority to ensure there are programs in our community working to prevent child abuse and trauma before it ever occurs to break the intergenerational cycle. After successful advocacy on behalf of many advocates at the Texas capitol, additional money was invested to develop a new program aimed to reduce child abuse across Texas. TexProtects has joined efforts with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas to implement a $3.4 million comprehensive child abuse prevention strategy in our local community known as project H.O.P.E.S, Healthy Outcomes through Prevention and Early Support using TexProtects' Child Protection and Family Strengthening Ecosystem (image below). This program offers services to help families with young children create the best possible environment for them to grow and thrive. H.O.P.E.S. uses curriculum that is proven to support families from pregnancy until the time their child enters kindergarten and uses five evidence-based programs.
