Strengthening Texas Families
Increase investments in a full continuum of preventative services to ensure all Texas families have access to these supports regardless of what community they live in.

Connecting Families to Resources
Improve coordination amongst information and referral systems and provide clarity to professionals on what connectors exist in their communities to ensure families can access services in a timely manner, ultimately leading to less families in crisis.

Supporting Informal Kinship Caregivers
Ensure all caregivers, including relatives and friends of the family who have stepped in to take care of a child, are able to access and connect to the resources and supports they need to appropriately care for the child(ren) in their home.

Family Preservation Efforts
Minimize further CPS intervention by funding more opportunities to provide supportive services to families to promote family preservation where there is risk of maltreatment.

Preventing Child Sexual Abuse
Increase protection of youth online and in schools to prevent child sexual abuse.
