FAQs
Got questions? We have answers.
Q: How should I manage my time?
A: The curriculum is designed to be completed in no specific order (though we do recommend following the suggested sequence), so feel free to work on a timeline and order that suits you. The time estimates provided above are a great starting point for planning.
Q: What if I get stuck on a module?
A: Take a break and revisit the material later. It’s often helpful to discuss the activities with a team member. Remember, your team’s knowledge and expertise are essential for building a successful home visiting program…and THV application.
Q: When should I start to work on the modules?
A: We know you’ve got a busy schedule, so this is up to you! But we do recommend working on the modules before the THV RFA is announced to avoid feeling rushed during the official application process.
Q: I’ve heard there’s lots of narratives required for the THV application. What if I don’t think I’m a good writer?
A: That’s okay! We know writing narratives about your work can feel daunting, which is why the modules are filled with helpful tips and writing templates to get you started.
